SEASONAL SNOW REMOVAL
Lynd Public School is seeking dependable seasonal help for snow removal throughout the winter months. Duties include clearing sidewalks, entryways, steps, and other high-traffic areas to ensure safe access for students, staff, and visitors.
We’re looking for individuals who are reliable, timely, and able to work early mornings as needed based on snowfall.

Lynd Public School is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and student-centered Full-Time Title I/Special Education Paraprofessional to join our team. This position plays a vital role in supporting student learning, providing academic interventions, and assisting in the delivery of special education services.
The paraprofessional will work closely with classroom teachers and special education staff to support students’ academic, social, and behavioral success. Responsibilities include small-group and one-on-one instruction, progress monitoring, implementing accommodations, and fostering a positive learning environment.
Provide Title I reading and math support to students in small groups or individually
Assist in implementing IEP goals and accommodations under the direction of special education staff
Support students with academic tasks, behavior expectations, and classroom routines
Collect data and monitor student progress
Collaborate with teachers and staff to promote student success
Maintain a positive, caring, and student-first approach in all interactions
High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education preferred)
ParaPro certification or ability to obtain (district will assist if needed)
Experience working with children in an educational setting preferred
Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships
Patience, flexibility, and a team-oriented mindset

*Substitutes for teachers and paraprofessionals
***The Minnesota Department of Education Educator Licensing Division issues two Substitute Teacher Licenses: the Two-Year, Short Call Substitute Teacher License and the Five-Year, Short Call Substitute Teacher License. A Two-Year, Short Call Substitute Teacher may only teach for 15 consecutive days in one classroom assignment, in any subject or grade level. A Five-Year, Short Call Substitute Teacher may replace the same teacher for 16 or more consecutive days.
Two-Year:
You must have a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college/university. Official transcripts and/or foreign evaluation reports must be provided.
Five-Year
To receive a five-year, short call substitute teacher license, you must complete an approved teacher preparation program, which means you have completed the required practicum and student teaching portions of the program.

Paraprofessional Substitutes: Minimum education requirement to become a paraprofessional substitute at Lynd Public School is a high school diploma or GED.

It is the policy of the Lynd School District to maintain a safe and healthful environment in the school district in order to promote the physical, social and psychological well-being of its students.
The school district requires that applicants for school district positions who receive an offer of employment submit criminal history background check. The offer of employment shall be conditioned upon a determination by the school district that an applicants criminal history does not preclude that applicant from employment with the school district.
A copy of the employment background check policy is on file in the district office and available upon request.
